Pricing and additional information...


The most asked question... how much is all of this pretty hand lettering? By choice, I do not set flat rates. Why? All pricing is based on the actual project.  I will be happy to provide you a quote, free of charge based on the information you provide. There are many considerations that affect pricing - such as the type of style (hand) selected (a simple print? an intricate script with tons of flourishes?), number of items to be hand-lettered (do you have outer and inner envelopes or just inner envelopes?), the amount of text involved (are they all international addresses requiring more than the standard 3-4 lines?), quality/type of ink used (black ink or a speciality mixed color) and the overall project time it will take (are you in a rush, or do you have a few weeks?). All of these factors allow me to provide you a fair quote based on the time, effort, and supplies needed. I don't want to overcharge a client for a simple project, just because my pricing is set. If you are flexible with your time, willing to drop off and pick up items, and have a general budget in mind, I am very happy to work with you to provide this personal service. I am happy to discuss your budget and requirements, so please contact me if you have any questions. All pricing is an estimate until project is received and sample is approved by client.

For envelope pricing, the price quoted is for a standard three - four line address on the outer envelope. If a return address needs to be hand-lettered as well, there will be an additional fee. Most sets of 100 invitations (inner and outer envelopes) range around $150.00.  Each set of 100 placecards range about $50.00 - $75.00 and certificates/fill-ins/bible inscriptions start at $5.00.  Most of my seating scrolls start at $75.00. For projects that just can't be fairly priced per-piece, I am happy to negotiate an hourly or project rate.

I offer one free consultation with each client. Changes after our consultation

resulting in additional design time will be billed at an hourly rate. Seating Scrolls

and other specialty projects that need to be custom designed will be quoted

individually, based on the materials and projected time.

deposit/reserving calendar space

A $25.00 non-refundable deposit is required to book the calendar time for your calligraphy project. The balance is due upon presentation of the completed project. You will receive a detailed estimate of your lettering costs before works begins and a detailed invoice at the presentation. A pick up and delivery fee may be issued if it is more than 15 miles from my location. Prices based on materials being provided. I do have a limited stock in which additional charges would apply. Prices also dependent on style, name format (first name only or formal names) and additional embellishments requested (ribbon, glitter, flourishes, framing, etc). Prices are subject to change.

Refund Policy

Hand Lettering is a very unique art. Due to the personal nature of the design process, no refunds will be given once the final product is received. Please make sure that you are completely satisfied when receiving your final product. If you are not, please let me know and I will do everything I can to make you pleased. If your order is cancelled and there has been a material cost incurred, you will be billed a fee. I will do everything I can as an artist to do the job to the best of my ability and if mistakes occur will try to make it right to please you.

Delivery & Shipping

Shipping costs will vary depending on the weight, size of the order, and the final destination. The client will incur any additional charges for overnight or express service. We ship either UPS, Federal Express, or the United States Postal Service. All shipping charges are due with the final payment. Final payment is due prior to the shipping of the completed order. A pick up and delivery fee may be issued if it is more than 10 miles from my location.

Payment

I accept cash, check (made payable to Graceful Expressions) or I would be happy to send an invoice through PayPal which would allow you to pay via Credit Card. Payment arrangements may be made, as long as final payment is received when project is completed/mailed.
