aletha vandermaas has loved the wedding industry since first working in catering in 1998. Banquet serving, interning with a couture bridal designer in Chicago, dabbling in bridal retail and then planning her own wedding has lead up to Pearls Events. Everything about weddings make her smile, especially the gorgeous photography. After college, she got a "real" job in marketing. Fast forward four years: with the support of her amazing husband, she is doing what she loves.
